Fun Services has been providing schools like yours with Funfairs for over 30 years. Our games have been tested and are proven winners. We can help you plan your fantastic event based on our experiences!
To organize your Fun Fair, you must decide with Fun Services plan will best suit your needs, budget and school size. The next thing to do is choose the games, extras and a date for your event and call our office so that we can reserve them for you. Next, you need to start getting volunteers! The more volunteers the better. We will help you organize all of the events you choose from us.
In addition to the activities Fun Services will be providing, you may want to consider adding some things on your own such as:
- Cake Walks
- Silent Auctions
- Bake Sales
- Raffles
- White Elephants
- Pizza
- Hot Dogs
- Beverages
These kinds of activities can be very big profit makers. Local pizza shops are usually willing to give discounts on large pizza purchases and they will even deliver them to your Fun Fair. Investigate what kind of things your local community might offer!
Volunteers should be adults. Children or even teenagers do not always understand that you are running the Fun Fair to make a profit for the school. They have a tendency to give buddies or siblings extra tickets to redeem for prizes and this, in turn, costs you money! Teens and children should not be in charge but do make great helpers. For example: some booths require chasing balls or beanbags. Always place an adult volunteer with minor or teen.
We also suggest that you sell tickets for everything! It is easier to control your money when only one trusted adult volunteer is collecting it in only one location. Also, A person will spend 2 tickets faster than they will spend 50 cents out of pocket even though both represent the same value.
These are just a few suggestions and tips that we thought might be helpful. Good luck with your Fun Fair!
